Will it impact JEE Main?
Last year, the class 12 Physics boards paper was rescheduled as it coincided with the JEE Main exam date. What about this year?
The Central Board of Secondary Education has categorically stated that the board exams are scheduled in a way that it doesn’t coincide with competitive exams like the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and Delhi University exams.
More about the board exams
The examination of the core subjects is scheduled to start in the month of March. Other non-core subjects like Music and vocational subjects are scheduled to begin in the month February.
To avoid rush and to involve fewer schools, examination of the subjects taken by a smaller number of students will be conducted early, stated the CBSE’s controller of examination. He also stated that ‘Students have been distributed to avoid rush at the examination centers’.
About the Results
The results of the boards (class 10 & class 12) are expected to be declared in the 1st week of June 2019.
