JoSAA to End Choice Filling-in Process on 25th June 2019

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2019 will end the registration process for choice filling tomorrow, the 25th of June 2019. The process will end at 5 PM.

Candidates who have qualified in the JEE Advanced 2019 examination can now register for the admission process through the official website of JoSAA. Once they fill a choice, they cannot change their selected institute.

Candidates can also check the complete counselling and registration schedule here.

Following are the steps of registration and choice filling:

  1. Visit the official website of JoSAA.
  2. Click on the ‘JoSAA 2019 Candidate Registration and Choice filling’ link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your ‘JEE Application Number’, ‘Password’, and ‘Security Pin’.
  4. Click on ‘Login’.
  5. Fill the form correctly and select desired colleges.
  6. Make the payment.

Things To Remember

  • Candidates who get their choice of admission must pay the acceptance fee and complete document verification at any reporting centre.
  • Candidates will get only a single chance to lock their seat, and there is no provision to change it later. Those who don’t lock their choices, their last saved choices will be locked automatically.
  • Those who fail to register and fill in their choices within the specified time will not be considered for admission in the current academic year.
  • In case of seat allotment changes or floating from NITs to IITs and vice-versa, then the candidate needs to report once again for document verification and seat acceptance at the concerned reporting centre.
  • Candidates who have qualified JEE Main can seek admission to all colleges except IITs. Qualifying JEE Advanced is mandatory to get admission in any of the IITs.
  • Candidates who have already accepted a seat, have the option to withdraw the seat at a reporting centre up to the 6th round of seat allocation.

JoSAA is expected to display 2nd mock seat allotment based on the choices made by candidates today. Once the seat allotment is released, candidates can check the same on the official website.

JoSAA regulates and manages the joint seat allocation for admission to 107 institutes including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs – Government Funded Technical Institutes.
