Alert: According to the most recent update, National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially shifted the website of JEE Main 2020. NTA has moved from the previous portal to a fresh one.

Till last year, students had to visit jeemain.nic.in to do their registrations for JEE Main. From now on, interested students wishing to apply for JEE Main 2020 must visit jeemain.nta.nic.in to complete the registration. All the information related to the examination has been switched to the new URL.

JEE Main 2020 schedule

The registrations for JEE Main 2020 have begun from 3rd September 2019. The last date to complete the registration is 10th October 2019. The admit cards shall be available for download 6th December 2019 onwards. The examination centers would be allotted to students on a first come first serve basis.

JEE Main 2020 will be conducted from 6th to 11th January 2020. The result for the January session will be declared on 31st January 2020.

About JEE Main 2020

JEE Main 2020 is conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode by the NTA. The exam can be attempted in 3 languages: Hindi, English, and Gujarati (for exam centers in Gujarat, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli).

To be eligible for JEE Main 2020, students should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th boards with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.

Alternatively, students should be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th boards conducted by the respective boards. For SC/ST students, the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th boards’ examination.
