JEE Main admit card is made available online on the official website of NTA. Candidates can download the admit card by logging in with their credentials.
Students can download the admit card in two ways, through:
- Application Number & Password
- Application Number & Date of Birth
The admit card has all the details like the student’s name, address, DOB, exam center, date, time of the exam, etc. Students will not be allowed to enter the exam center without admit card and valid ID proof.

Steps To Download Admit Card
JEE Main 2020 Admit Card will be available online and students need to download it from the official website of NTA. Following are the detailed steps to download the admit card:
- Visit the official website of JEE Main.
- Click on the ‘Download JEE Main January 2020’ Admit Card link.
- On the next page, the following screen will appear:
- Click on either of the two options to get to the login screen.
Through Application Number & Password
Through Application Number & Date of Birth - Enter your credentials, security pin and click on ‘Login’.
- On the next page, you’ll see the following screen:
- Use the ‘Download Your Admit Card’ button to download the card.
- Save it and take a printout.

JEE Main Admit Card 2020 Details
It’s important to verify all the details shown in the admit card. Following are the details available on the admit card:
- Name of Student
- Father’s Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Category
- State of Eligibility
- Roll Number
- Paper for which the candidate is appearing
- Application Number
- Exam Centre’s Name and Address
- Timing
- Photograph of Student
- Signature of Student
- Signature of Student’s Parent

What if you forget your application number or password?
The application number and password are mandatory to access your account and download the admit card. If you somehow forget either of the two, there’s no need to worry. They can be easily recovered.
Steps to recover application number:
- Visit the official website of JEE Main.
- Click on the ‘Download JEE Main January 2020’ Admit Card link.
- Click on ‘Through Application Number and Password’ to get to the login screen.
- Click on ‘I can’t access my account?’ link.
- Select ‘I forgot my application number’ button and continue.
- On the next page, enter the following details:
- Click on ‘Submit’ after filling all the details.
- Your application number will be sent to you.
- Use the application number to sign in.
- Download the admit card.
Steps to recover password:
- Visit the official website of JEE Main.
- Click on the ‘Download JEE Main January 2020’ Admit Card link.
- Click on ‘Through Application Number and Password’ to get to the login screen.
- Click on ‘I can’t access my account?’ link.
- On the next page, select ‘I forgot my password’ button and continue.
- Select any of the three options available on the next screen and continue:
- The reset password link will be sent to you as per your chosen option.
- Check your password and use it to log in to your account.
- Download the admit card.
- Take printout.
JEE Main 2020 Required Documents
Students need to carry the following documents along with the admit card, to the exam centre:
- Valid photo ID like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, School Identity Card, PAN Card, Driving License/ Ration Card
- Passport-sized colour photograph (used in JEE Main application form)
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
