The final result of the KVPY 2018 scholarship exam has been declared by the Indian Institute of Science (Bengaluru). The KVPY final result has been declared post successfully conducting the aptitude test and the interview by IISc.
The aptitude test was held on 4th November 2018 and the interview was conducted from 15th of January to 28th of February 2019.
Stream-wise and category-wise merit list of the qualified students and the minimum cut-off has been released online.
How Is The Merit List Prepared?
Based on the performance of the students in the KVPY examination (aptitude test weightage: 75% & interview weightage: 25%) the merit list is prepared. The candidates who qualify are eligible for a monthly scholarship and a contingency grant, which is annual.
Steps to Check Scores Of KVPY 2018
- Candidates will have to click on the following link: http://kvpy.iisc.ernet.in/kvpy1819/checkMarks.php
- To check the scores, candidates will have to enter their Application number and Date of Birth.
- By clicking on ‘continue’, candidates will be able to check their scores.
- Candidates will be able to download their scores.
Steps to Download KVPY 2018 Results
- Candidates will have to visit the official website of KVPY: http://kvpy.iisc.ernet.in/main/results-2018.htm
- According to the category and stream, candidates can download the results as a PDF.
- Candidates will have to search their name in the merit list downloaded.
- It is advisable for candidates to take a printout of the results for future references.

The KVPY fellowship will be effective from 1st of August 2020, given that the qualified candidates can provide necessary documents for verification and provided they pursue an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences.
