National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration dates for JEE Main January 2020. The revised last date of registration is 10th October 2019. Earlier, the last date of registration declared was 30th September 2019.

Apart from the last date of registration, NTA has revised the dates of submission of fee and correction of application forms. Students can now pay their fee till 11th October 2019. They can make corrections in their application form particulars till 20th October 2019.

Students can apply for JEE Main 2020 January from the official website of NTA.

In an official statement, NTA declared: “The last date for submission of the online application form, is extended from 30th September 2019 to 10th October 2019, in order to enable the aspiring candidates who have not been able to apply in the Online Application Form. This is being done in view of a number of requests being received in this regard”.

Students can download admit card for JEE Main January 2020 from 6th December 2019. The exam will be held from 6th January to 11th January 2020 in a computer-based mode.

About JEE Main 2020

JEE Main 2020 is conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode by NTA. The exam can to in 3 languages: Hindi, English, and Gujarati (for exam centres in Gujarat, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli).

To be eligible for JEE Main 2020, students should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th boards with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.

Alternatively, students should be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th boards conducted by the respective boards. For SC/ST students, the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th board examination.

JEE Main score is also considered for admission to undergraduate engineering courses offered by 30 NITs, 20 IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) such as BIT Mesra Ranchi, Thapar University, Delhi Technological University (DTU), Punjab Engineering College, NSIT, etc.
