JEE Main & JEE Advanced 2020: New Dates Announced

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and request by a lot of parents, the Human Resource Development has again decided to change the dates of JEE Main & Advanced 2020. JEE Main will now be held from 1st to 6th September 2020, while JEE Advanced will be held on 27th September 2020.

The new dates have been announced by the HRD Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. The announcement was made on the basis of recommendation given by the panel of experts formed by Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal on Thursday, 2nd July 2020.


Following are the details of the new dates of JEE Main 2020 and JEE Advanced 2020.

JEE Main 2020 1st to 6th September 2020
JEE Advanced 2020 27th September 2020

JEE Main 2020 (2nd session) was supposed to be conducted in April. It was then pushed to May and then eventually to the second last week of July (18-23) 2020.

Over 9 lakh students had registered for JEE Main April 2020. The wait has been getting longer for the students, and it must be frustrating for them. But as they say, the show must go on! Therefore, the preparations must also go on!
