JEE Main Exam Centre details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the online Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2019 from 6th to 20th January 2019.

JEE Main 2019 exam centre and the shift have been allotted to the registered candidates. The details announced are for candidates appearing for the JEE Main January 2019 examination. A candidate has to reach the designated exam centre on the allotted time and date.

Here is how one can check the city, exam centre and shift details:

  • Visit the official NTA website (https://www.nta.ac.in/Home)
  • Click on the link “Login for Examination City, Date and Shift” provided in the NTA Homepage.
  • Enter the application number generated during registration along with the set password and captcha (security pin) provided. (Refer Image)

  • Once the information is entered the exam centre along with the city and shift details will be displayed on the screen.

Regarding Shift Timings

The January JEE Main 2019 examination (Paper 1) will be conducted in two shifts during 6th to 20th of January. The shifts allocated to the registered candidates are:

  • 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM
  • 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM

Paper 2 of JEE Main 2019 will be conducted in one shift only.

 Everything about the Admit Card

The NTA will release the JEE Main 2019 (January) admit card on 17th of December 2018 and will be avail for download from the official JEE Main/NTA website. The details of the exam centre and shift allotted will also be available on the JEE Main 2019 Admit card.

The admit card for JEE Main 2019, April exam will be released on 18th of March 2019.

The admit card is a mandatory document for candidates to carry, devoid of which the entry to the examination center will be barred.
