NTA has released the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2020 held from 6th to 9th January. JEE Main 2020 January session concluded on 9th January 2020. More than 11 lakh candidates took the biggest entrance examination of the country.
Candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2020 can download the provisional Answer Key from the official website of NTA. Candidates also have the option to challenge the answer key, after which the final answer key will be released. The online window will be open for a week to challenge the answer key.
JEE Main 2020 Answer Key
JEE Main 2020 Answer Key is made available in PDF format for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates can calculate their probable score with the help of Answer Key. JEE Main Answer Key 2020 has the Question ID as well as the Answer ID.
Steps to download Answer key
1. Visit the official website of NTA JEE Main.
2. Click on the ‘View Question Paper – JEE (MAIN) 2020.’
3. Choose through ‘Application Number and Password’ or ‘Application Number and DOB’ option.
4. Sign in with your credentials and your answer key will be displayed.
5. Download the answer key and OMR sheet in PDF. Take a printout for future reference.
Challenging JEE Main 2020 Answer Key
If any candidate is not satisfied with their answer, they can challenge the answer key. The candidate is required to pay Rs.1000 for each challenged question. The amount will be refunded if the challenge is found to be correct. The payment can be made through Debit or Credit Card or Net Banking.
Steps to download Answer key
Here are the steps to challenge the answer key:
1. Visit the official website of NTA JEE Main.
2. Click on the ‘Challenge Answer Key – JEE (MAIN) 2020’ link.
3. Choose through ‘Application Number and Password’ or ‘Application Number and DOB’ option.
4. Sign in with your credentials and your answer key will be displayed.
5. The question IDs and answers selected will be displayed on the screen.
6. Choose the correct option and click on ‘Submit’.
7. The selected answers will be displayed on the screen.
8. Upload the supporting documents justifying your correct answer/s.
9. Pay the fee using the available options.
JEE Main 2020 Paper Analysis
The Paper Analysis of JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 conducted on January 7th, 8th, and 9th is out now. As per the analysis, the exam’s difficulty level was easy to moderate. Paper 1, on the whole, was concept-based and tested students’ problem-solving ability.
Chemistry was found to be the easiest of the three subjects. Most questions were NCERT based. The majority of questions were from Inorganic Chemistry. The solutions didn’t require much time and helped students save valuable time.
Mathematics section was also of moderate difficulty. Although, it was considered to be a lengthy section and had a balanced amount of questions from classes 11th and 12th.
Physics was the toughest section. Most questions were from class 11th. The numerical questions were concept-based.
