NTA postpones JEE Main April 2020 due to COVID-19

The worst fears have come true, it’s confirmed now. The Ministry of Human Resource Development has announced that JEE Main 2020 (2nd session) will now be held in the last week of May 2020. Last week, NTA had officially postponed JEE Main April 2020 due to the threat of Coronavirus or COVID-19 looming all over the country.

The release of Admit Cards for JEE Main April 2020 has also been postponed. They were expected to be released on 20th March but now will be released after 15th April 2020.

Agree or not, it’s the right decision taken by authorities to delay the exam. They can’t afford to put the students at risk at any cost.

NTA has also launched a helpline for the candidates who have registered for JEE Main 2020 April. They can connect with exam authorities to resolve their queries. They can call at 0120-6895200 for any further clarification.

What should be done now?

Candidates who were preparing for JEE Main April 2020 must be feeling quite frustrated at this moment. However, the only thing that needs to be done here is to remain calm and understand the grave situation.

Hopefully, the exam won’t be delayed by too long and won’t cause any momentum loss in your preparation. Parents should also keep calm and support their child to keep them motivated.
