The results for the NTSE stage 1 exam for all the states except seven states are out. The result for Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha has not been announced yet. For the remaining states, Students can check out the results on the respective state education board websites.
NTSE Stage 2
The dates for NTSE Level 2 exam have been decided as 14 May 2017.

NTSE Pattern
The exam is presented to students in the form of Multiple Choice Questions with each question having four choices. A student is required to select the correct answer from the choices and each correct answer bears one mark.
NTSE exam tests the applicants on two grounds namely SAT and MAT. While the former is more academically oriented, the latter tests students general problem solving and smartness. MAT consists of 50 questions each bearing 1 mark and lasts for 45 minutes. SAT further has two sections i.e. Languages test (45 minutes, 50 questions, 1 mark each) and a combined section for Science, Mathematics and Social Science (90 minutes, 100 questions, 1 mark each).

NTSE Competition
Currently, more than 50 lakh students appear in the exam out of which only 1000 students qualify and are entitled to stipend. NTSE is held in two stages with a specific quota allocated to each state in the initial round. This implies that the first round qualifiers would be chosen from each state. However, the second round does not have any quota.
