National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) was introduced in 1961 by NCERT to identify and promote academic talent. It is one of the most prestigious national level scholarship programs conducted at secondary school level.

Around 1000 students are awarded scholarships every year throughout the nation. NTSE exam is held in two stages.

NTSE Stage 1 exam was successfully conducted on November 5, 6 and 13, 2017. Its result has been declared for all participating states.

NTSE Stage-1 Results Declared

The State Education Boards of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal have declared the NTSE 2018 Result for stage 1.

The selected candidates of stage 1 will appear for stage 2 on May 13, 2018. Post the exam, final NTSE results will be declared in the month of August 2018.

Process to Check NTSE Result 
NTSE 2018 results are declared only in the online mode. No offline communication will be entertained.

Follow the steps mentioned below to check the result of NTSE 2018:

  • Login to NTSE’s official website.
  • Enter the roll number and the date of birth in mm/dd/yy format.
  • Type the captcha code and hit ‘submit’. You will get the result.
  • Download the result and save a copy for future reference.

NCERT will award the NTSE qualifiers with a scholarship amount of Rs 1250 based on their performances in stage 1 and stage 2.
