The National Talent Search Examination (popularly known as NTSE) is a highly sought-after scholarship programme conducted by the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) since 1963. Originally this was started only for the students of Delhi to recognize, motivate and honor academic talent. NTSE is now conducted all over the country and is one of the most prestigious exams for school level students.

NTSE is conducted in two stages for the students of class 10. Candidates that qualify NTSE stage 2 are awarded the esteemed scholarship and are titled as ‘NTSE Scholars’.

NTSE stage 1 is conducted on the state level. The subjects that are tested in NTSE stage 1 are – Mathematics, Science, Social Science and English. English is tested only as a qualifier Students that qualify NTSE stage 1 are eligible to appear for NTSE stage 2. NTSE Stage 2 is conducted on the national level.

The admit card for Stage 2 of NTSE 2019 will be released by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in April 2019. The stage 2 of NTSE 2019 examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 12, 2019.

Admit Card NTSE 2019

To download your admit card for NTSE Stage 1, please follow the steps given below:

  1. Log on to your respective state’s NTSE application portal.
  2. Enter your required details and the captcha code.
  3. On clicking submit, your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  4. Download the admit card and take a print out.

Details on the NTSE Admit Card

Before you download your admit card for NTSE 2019, be sure to check your details on the admit card. Your KVPY admit card has the following details:

  1. Name
  2. Roll number
  3. Photograph
  4. Signature
  5. Category
  6. Exam Timings
  7. NTSE exam centre address
  8. Test centre code
  9. Exam day guidelines

In case of any discrepancies in the details, candidates must immediately get in touch with their respective state’s authorities to get it rectified.

The NTSE admit card 2019 is a very important document without which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the NTSE. Along with the KVPY admit card, you must also carry with you a valid photo ID such as your school ID or Aadhar Card or Passport etc.
